The law stopped about $2 million unexpected medical bills from hitting private insurance patients during just the first two months of 2022.

HB1035, a Republican bill passed by Gov. Sununu, makes exemption from childhood vaccines against fatal diseases like tetanus and paralytic polio (once thought eradicated, now resurging in the US) as easy as signing a piece of paper.

While Republicans cave to anti-science extremists, Democrats are fighting for responsible policies that uphold science-based practices, strengthen our healthcare institutions, and help all contend with rising healthcare costs.
